The Ashford Best Placed in Britain Photography Competition is back for 2010, so get ready to get snapping!

This year, we want to know your reason to smile about living, working and playing Ashford - show us in a single photograph why Ashford makes you smile!

Entering is simple:

• First, read the rules to make sure your image is suitable
• Take your picture showing your reason to smile about Ashford
• Upload it here by 12th May 2010
• Wait for voting to begin!

All valid entries will be separated into three age groups - Under 12s, 12 to 17, and 18 & Over – and displayed online. A shortlist for each age group will then be selected by an independent judging panel, and the public will vote for the overall winners.

The closing date for entries is 12noon, Wednesday 12th May.

Each winner will receive Eurostar tickets to Paris or Brussels, and could also win £300 worth of photographic vouchers, a large canvas print of their photo or other photo-themed goodies!

All valid entries will appear in a professionally-bound photo book at the end of the competition, and may be used on future promotional material for Ashford's Future and Ashford Borough Council.
