New Chair of Ashford’s Future Company
Vince Lucas has become the
new Chairman of Ashford’s Future Company Limited.
Vince Lucas is Service Delivery Director for Southeastern and
has been an Ashford’s Future company board member since its
inception in spring 2009.
Mr Lucas said: “It is a great honour to be invited to be
Chairman of Ashford Future and I hope that I can offer some of my
experience of working in Kent over recent years to the
organisation.
“Ashford’s Future plays an important role in growth and
regeneration, but we should be realistic that in the future funding
will get harder.
“Over the last few years, growth in Ashford has taken off and I
am keen that we continue this journey.”
Former Land Securities Director Robyn Pyle Robyn Pyle stepped
down as chairman to take up a role in the new Government Property
Unit, which is responsible for managing the Government’s property
portfolio.
Mr Pyle will remain a Director of the Ashford’s Future
Company.
