Development Update now out

Residents interested in the town’s growth can find out more by reading the latest edition of the Development Update produced by Ashford Borough Council.

Development Update is produced every six months and provides details of the latest planning applications and housing completions for various development sites across the borough.

It also explains the role of the main planning policy documents and shows what stage they are at.

The latest edition includes updates on construction at Brisley Farm, Park Farm, Singleton, Stanhope, Repton Park and the former Rail Yard off Hunter Avenue.

Cllr John Kemp, portfolio holder for planning and development said: “Development Update provides a snapshot of the town’s expansion. Despite the current economic climate it is encouraging to see development still moving forward in the borough.”
