The Ashford Best Placed in Britain Photography Competition is back for 2010
A free half day event to improve river quality through tackling misconnections is being held on Thursday 25th March at the Julie Rose Stadium. Misconnections occur when washing machines, dishwashers, baths, showers and even toilets are connected to the surface water drain instead of the foul water drain.
Exciting changes planned for the domestic side of Ashford International Station forecourt will go on display on Tuesday 23rd March in the domestic station forecourt between 7am and 7pm.
Ashford International was today officially unveiled by Damian Green, MP for Ashford, to the public following a six month refurbishment project to create a better station environment for passengers.
World-famous architect Sir Terry Farrell has been appointed Design Champion for the government-designated growth town of Ashford. The acclaimed international urban design authority is the town’s ambassador as it seeks to fulfil its ambition to become “the powerhouse of Kent.”
