A Kent Highway Services-led partnership has won a prestigious national award for a series of major improvements at Ashford International that have benefited passengers and boosted bus use and cycling to get to the station.
Over 40 local businesses and key stakeholders met last week to discuss future plans for the town centre and how the Town Centre Partnership can help support them grow and prosper.
A plan setting out the future vision for Ashford’s Town Centre have been approved. The blueprint shows how 3,100 homes, 8,000 jobs, 70,000 sq m of retail/leisure space and around 95,000 sq m of office development will be created in the town centre.
